They are nice, but I don't feel any warmer, but they are soft so I use them all year around.

I love mine. Believe it or not, I bought some last year right after Christmas at Target. They were on clearance for $13! I bought king, queen and twin - all $13. They've held up well!

Flannel sheets definitely make a difference. If you tend to be warm at night, you would not want them. When we had a comforter on our bed, we used regular sheets in the winter. Now we just use a fairly lightweight quilt and we pair it with flannel sheets in winter.

I just made the switch to flannel sheets - purchased at Target and they are soft and warm. however, after two washes they are already "pilling," and mine are dark coloured and already have a lot of lint stuck to them. I do not think I would buy flannel sheets again.

Ditto on Costco. Plus if you don't like them you can always return them.

wow, I have alwasy wondered who actually likes flannel sheets. I hate them so much! They seem so great in theory but I like to slide in my sheets, I don't like friction in the bed (well, except, HEY HO, never mind!) and I just don't like the way they feel.
