Um . . . do you really WANT to be in the bathroom while he is taking a dump? I lived in a 1 bath place with DH and a toddler and even in the direst of emergencies we gave each other privacy for that.

Husband and I are getting an iPad for ourselves and hiding it from the kids. Other than that, all I want is a healthy family - last year we were all sick for a good two solid weeks around Christmas and New Year's so the holidays were pretty miserable. No one on antibiotics, no trips to the hospital, everyone well enough to relax and have fun together. That's what I really want (okay, and also to sleep in).

I can't think of anything. It's the downside of simplifying my needs. Maybe vacations? A massage, like, every day?
