I think you should definitely move the current nanny discussion forum and consolidate the forums. That would show the posters that you're invested in the success of the new forum, as well as encourage them to post there.

I'm confused by the quick rejection of the forum by some nannies, esp the regional part. I think the regions are great to break down issues of pay rates and other specifics. I don't see how they are forced to just use those areas, since there are plenty of topic areas as well.

That said, I hope it catches on and I hope all nanny posts end up there. Seems like a huge plus for most of the nannies here, who are not from the area anyway.
