OP here. It's through my office. I'm actually not sure what organization is doing it. I will find out and post back.

Not to sidetrack, but what organization are you doing the adopt-a-family through? I love doing this, but can never seem to find them far enough in advance to really enjoy shopping.

I wouldn't buy white dolls. I would buy some sort of flavored doll. Yellow caramel or brown. Maybe an Asian doll?

I agree with the people who said dolls of their race. I am white, but have a daughter of a different race (brown skin). People buy her white dolls and while I appreciate that people want to give her gifts, I always wondered about their thinking when they chose dolls of my race.

I also agree that you should get them what's on their wish list. Christmas is about magic and what is more magical than getting your heats's desire. It is very nice of you to do this.
