If it looks okay, smells okay, and tastes okay - I eat it. Doesn't matter how long it sat out. I've never had food poisoning.

I would have eaten it.

Before I started telecommuting, I used to bring leftovers for lunch all the time - I would never refrigerate anything, so my leftovers were out from about 8am to about 12, when I heated and ate them. Never got sick in the years and years I did this.
