Benghazi is a non-issue. Overseas stationing for the armed forces and foreign service personnel is dangerous and sadly occasionally these American public servants are injured and killed. This happens to be the nature of these jobs. We dearly appreciate the sacrifices these American heroes make for us every day.

It is tragic anytime one of our American heroes is killed in the service of our nation, but it is not right to blame the President for these deaths.

In 1983 during the Reagan Administration, 243 Marines and Navy Corpsmen were killed in a terrorist attack in Beirut, Lebanon. This terror attack occurred only a week after the Commandant of the Marine Corps had visited the base and forbid the local commander from digging trenches and fortifying the base because it would give the appearance creating a permanent fortress. The guards at the base gates were forbidden from having their M-16 rifles loaded. This was all just six months after a truck bomb had detonated and killed about 75 people at the U.S. Embassy also in Beirut, Lebanon.

So although it is tragic that we lost four brave Americans in Benghazi recently, it is not the first time nor will it be the last time that Americans serving in foreign lands will make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Only simple minded uninformed people would hold President Obama personal responsible for the deaths of our brave Americans who were lost while serving our country in libya

That consulate should have been closed due to the numerous priot attacks as a PP metions. Numerous requests for more security by Ambassador Hayes were denied. There was no marine protection.... Security was outsourced to LIBYANS in a HOT zone and on 9/11. There is so much wrong here I dont even know where to start. this is an absolute issue. True we have had other embassy attacks but nothing to this degree. This was a 7 hour attack and we had fighter planes within 1 hour from Benghazi. So much wrong... Changing stories, no ownership... Weak
