If you are lightheaded and shaky because you are overweight and dieting and haven't eaten for a bit, wait it out. Your body doesn't know how to easily switch to metabolizing fat and it is complaining about learning.
If you are simply short calories, eat protein. Greek yogurt--unsweetened or with fruit, meat, nuts, cheese.
If you are diabetic and on meds, take your blood sugar. If under 70, or under 80 and you feel bad, eat a protein-carb snack such as a few pb crackers, a pudding cup, or half a meat sandwich. Drink 4-6 oz of regular soda or fruit juice. Let your MD know so you can adjust your meds if this happens frequently.
Hmm so fat people can't pass out, huh?

skip the oj--lots of acidity. skip the milk--dairy will make you congested
clear broth and plenty of fluids; plain crackers.
I was going to say chocolate milk too and I disagree with this. Milk may make YOU congested, but it doesn't have that effect on everyone.
