Agreed. I like Masterpiece Mystery for the fact that it is not network primetime.

ditto about the Sherlock

Also, I've found that I like the show Elementary on CBS with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Lui. (Even though I like both actors, I didn't think they'd be able to pull it off.)

Do you mean MI-5 (aka Spooks)? That just finished its last season but wife loved all the cute guys in it.

Can one watch Luther and MI-6 for free anywhere? We are moving and don't have cable/Netflix/Hulu here.

Love, love, love - "MI-6" It is very scary as it covers mostly the activities of contemporary terriorists in London. Many of the guys on MI-6 are so hot that I can't believe they are actually Brits. Although I do have a thing for Hathaway and Inspector Lynley, so maybe British men are evolving from my days at LSE.

I'm loving this thread. It's making me think of the Frost book series:

http://www.amazon.com/Touch-Frost-R-D-Wingfield/dp/0553571699/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1350834882&sr=1-1&keywords=a+touch+of+frost

I know the BBC made a series of this book a while ago (never seen them). But this is just such a fantastic series and prime for an update. (It's too bad John Thaw passed away b/c he would be perfect for the role.)

I like it quite a bit but can't be too tired when I watch it or I'll fall asleep. Love the Zen stories but apparently there won't be anymore of them made because the actor is reluctant. Also recommend the mini-series The Hour and Luther.

So true. I loved him in Wimbledon. It was a little sappy, but I still liked the movie.

I feel like I need to take a prozac after I watch Wallander, and I just started telling DH to watch it without me.

Also agree about Wire in the Blood and BBC Prime Suspect, and Inspector Linley. And Inspector Lewis, but again, more for the hottie young guy on there. (Not as hot as Aurelio Zen though, but who is, really...)

Hathaway.
Not bad on the eyes.

Laurence Fox. I always get him confused with Paul Bettany.
