OP why not post on the looking for nanny work board here, specifying gender? Bet you'd get some good responses.

OP here,

Already did.

I would love a male nanny for my two 3 year old boys. Sadly, I probably can't afford you.

OP here,

Kids laundry is easy and my parents taught me to leave a place cleaner than you found it.

I'm sticking with manny. Still funny.

I believe the term is sexual harrassment.

OP, I would take the responses from this site with a grain of salt. The women on here seem to be obsessed with child molestation and think that every man is a predator.

I'm in SF, and we have a guy manny for our DD. I'm not the only one. He has a "guy group" he takes her to once a week filled with SAHDs and guy nannies.

I would love to have a male nanny for my son! My brother in law is a child psychologist and has always been wonderful with children - he's silly and fun and they just relate to him so well.

I just don't understand why men aren't allowed to enjoy working with children? It makes no sense to me.

I don't think male nannies are child molesters. At work, however, I get more push-back from male subordinates than female ones. I might worry that you wouldn't take direction as well.

I wouldn't have a problem with a male nanny. My friend had one for her daughter and loved him. They lived in Michigan. My daughter's daycare director is a man, and he had a lot of experience working in day care.

Americans have this weird cultural thing about men who like kids - they must be pedophiles/gay/etc. I am from a culture where even "macho" guys can be openly interested in babies and children.

Sorry
