Fashion trends might be changing but stockings with open toe shoes are FUGLY

I saw a woman today wearing light tan peep toes and it did look kind of odd. But it makes sense in mid-October when this thread was started.

Yes, I've wore them with strappy shoes for a holiday party before. I thought they were the most awesome thing ever but the strap pulled in between my toes something fierce.

A substantial peep toe with opaque tights might work but now I need some cute skirts and dresses.
