Poll: Romney, now even with women, leads Obama in the swing states

Debate boosts Romney among female voters in the swing states; he now leads Obama by 4 points among likely voters.

Ah, to sleep , perchance to dream. A dream is a wish your heart makes . It's only true in Disney that these dreams really do come true .

The expectations for Romney doing well in the first debate were so low that simply not making a fool of himself would have given him a ,WIN." Tonight he will have to dazzle with his brilliance, which is unlikely because he simply isn't that brilliant or charismatic .

I'm sure NA is well rehearsed , probably by Bill Clinton, among others.

When Obama wins another term, it will be interesting to see how much crow is eaten by the conservatives posting here.

What will you do for the next four years?

It's still Obama's race. It's just a much, much tighter one.

Obama will do better. In the next two debates he is going to increasingly press Romney on his lack of explanation for how he will pay for his many promises, and for the flip flops he has made.

Yeah. And I'm ten pounds overweight because the gym is not open at hours that are convenient for me, and because the foods that I like to eat are too fattening. It has absolutely nothing to do with my own shortcomings, of course....

If that's the most momentum Romney can muster, he's toast. By pretty much any model, Obama is a 65% odds to win. Not saying Romney won't, but it's unlikely. There simply aren't that many minds to change between now and then.

Stop deluding yourself.

I think the tables are turned for the second debate. Romney worked so hard to lower expectations for the first -- now they are sky-high for the second. So one of two things are likely: 1) He won't meet them; or 2) In an effort to meet them, he'll overstep on the aggression and make a McCain-like "that one" gaffe.

Obama needs to be a confident, credible candidate and explain his successes. Or welcome to giant tax cuts for the 1%, a huge defense budget, and middle class entitlement programs eliminated. But of course Americans will never protest because the elete know the masses are weak and stupid.

I predict a close Obama win.
Hope he achieves a little more this time around.
