This is why as a black person who happens to be a freethinker I don't associate with other black folks. No, I'm not a Republican. I'm an Independent. However, this tribal cult like mentality in the black community just baffles me. Anytime you don't vote, dress, talk, or profess to bow down to all things that are hail supreme amongst blacks and white liberals, blacks want to crucify you as a sellout. It's like you're not allow to be yourself in the company of black people. Being black in America correlates to, "You better not leave the plantation and better yourself."

This backlash against Stacy Dash just proves that blacks are just as racists and close-minded as conservative bigots. This is America! Stacy Dash has the right to vote for whomever she wants to. Blacks aren't a monolithic group. We don't all vote the same, behave the same, listen to the same music, or worship the same (gasp: some of us are even Atheists). Stacy Dash voting for or against Mitt Romney isn't going to benefit or hinder me at all. It's her choice and it's her right. Isn't tolerance what we liberals always preach? Or do us liberals only tolerate individuals who embrace our belief system?

Us Blacks need to invest time focusing on the pathologies, dysfunctionalism, and the ghettoization of our communities before we waste precious energy on celebrities in Hollywood. See I'm more concern about the 70% out of wedlock births in the black community, the constant complaining about, "Whitey is out to get us" while folks from other ethnic groups (for example: Nigerians and Indians) excel better than us, the unwillingness to address the social ills in our communities, the discrimination against black homosexuals, the rapes of little black girls in our inner cities, the drug problems, and the list goes on. There are more issues on this planet that black folks like myself care about than celebrities. Our world is turning into a crap hole and Stacy Dash is what matters to some black folks?! WHAT?!

I'm so through with black folks I want to SCREAM! I'm not even going to bother with this post or topic anymore either. I just had enough with the hyprocrisy and tribal thinking amongst black people!

Ive stated before that republicans have every opportunity to capture some black voters if only they were more inviting and stopped pandering to the small minority of people in the party who are racist. I dont get why the party feels the need to defend such a fringe group of their party because I am sure that their loss will be made up by gains made in grabbing more minority voters.

And the few black and minority republicans that do exist doesnt demonstrate the parties "diversity" at all. Nor should the party use these few people as some example that racists and bigots exist in the party.

Obama isnt the reason why blacks are majority Democrat. This stupid narrative is annoying as if before 2008 blacks were either not voting or just wandering around evenly voting for both parties. Republicans to me need to admit that this is a problem and act accordingly and I am sure that 90% who go all dem could go down to 80%-85% and in close elections, that means a lot.

But continue thinking there isnt a problem or that we are sheep, or that the 1-2 black republicans you can point to exemplify your diversity. Thats not going to get you anywhere especially considering the shifting demographics of the country in 10-20 years.

And you wonder why most blacks won't vote for your party. Maybe you should start showing them some respect. Stop running racially charged political ads. Maybe weed out candidates who think slavery was a net benefit to aa. Reconsider posting and forwarding racially disparaging comments about the first black president. Consider the remote possibility that most black people are not criminals or welfare queens. Do more than a stop every election cycle to speak at the naacp and stop telling them that they are victims of mind control.
