If he can withdraw his portion, maybe you could use same pressure he used on you, to make it community property.
Aside from $, how long have you been wanting to leave? 36 years is a long time to stay married to someone you don't love. Maybe you should have at least left when you inherited $. That could have been your nest egg?

OP was specifically asking if she was entitled to a large sum of money in a trust. She is only entitled to marital assets. Money in a trust is not a marital asset. She said nothing about the money being commingled. Yes, I am an attorney. Can't say the same about you.

clearly pp is not an attorney--the money in a trust is protected. Money that comes out of the trust and is comingled is marital property.

No, you're not entitled to his inheritance. It's not a marital asset. He keeps it. It doesn't matter if it's in a trust or not. You don't get any of it.
