I think it just sounds made-up. Thus, too precious. Like your babynaming process went like this:

"I love the name 'Sadie.'"
"Me too. Too bad it's getting too common. Sigh."
"I know, how about switch it up a bit! Radie? Tadie? Jadie? I know!! ZADIE!"

It would be cute if it didn't mean "grandpa" to most Jewish people. That's what I called my grandfather.
