OP here. Sunday is the only day DH is home in the mornings so we usually do family stuff and I thought a lot of the families would go to church... I had very little people showing up for DC's birthday because it was Sunday morning and people went to church so I promised myself not to hold anymore get togethers on Sunday LOL
Yeah, I feel like a lot of Christian families (like us) would be at church on Sunday mornings. I guess you just would have to get a feel for whether your DC's child skewed more Jewish or Christian, and then make a judgment call about this one. . .
