What about La Ferme in Chevey Chase? Never been there but it has a 3 course menu and definitely caters to a mature crowd.

No. Not special, not celebratory. That's a place for ordinary breakfast and brunch, not a celebration of a significant birthday.


I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. In my family, what makes the occasion are the people, not the place. We go someplace to be together and celebrate and if we all enjoy the food, that's great.

Tabard Inn is what you are looking for. The Inn itself is very old and has great atmosphere. The brunch is great. They have homemade doughnuts to die for. The also have a great outdoor space.

I agree about Mrs. K's. Perfect for elderly relatives but the brunch is good.
