Interesting! Thanks, I never knew this. We moved DD earlier, but maybe this time we'll wait a bit longer. I didn't realize there was an issue. I figured once they could roll over, you'd be okay.

We did this and it was fine. Agree with sleep sacks and no other stuff in the crib. Try a sleep positioner if you are really concerned about her staying on her back.

Op here - this is the situation I am in. She is only nursing once a night now, so I think it is time for her to move out. Thanks to the PP who suggested the fan. I might sleep in her room on the floor until I feel comfortable leaving her alone.

We moved our son to his crib when his little noises kept waking us up, and vice versa. We figured it was worse for him not to be sleeping (and for us not to be sleeping). That was at a little over 3 months.

We moved DS into his crib in his room at 11 weeks, the week before I went back to work. I slept on a sofa in his room that last week. It was a harder transition for me than it was for him.
