I read that a lot of times the pests are already in the flour when you buy it, if they're in there at all, so if you just put it in the freezer overnight when you first buy it, it will kill anything that's in there and prevent it from turning into an infestation. I never do that, but that's what I read. I keep my flour in a plastic airtight container in the cupboard.

Maybe, but at least I don't see them (assuming I use it up before they grow). I'm sure they're nutritious, I just don't want to know about it.

Not necesssarily. If you've already got the moths, you're giving them one more thing to snack on.
