This is exactly how it ends up but you failed to mention that someone will come and say "Oh well, why are you buying an used car? Your DH can't afford a new one?"
Then I'll come and say our budget won't allow. Then a typical DCUM "lady" will respond "You should get a better job to be able to afford one, then." and it goes downhill from there.

I think what they are saying is that the whole premise of the post is made up. I suspect the crazy paint lady thread in the non-explicit relationships is made up. Would love to see examples of CL lady. Does she sign off like that?

CL here. When people call me out on threads I've started I show up to say they're right, and when they call me out and I'm not the OP I also let them know it's not me if I happen to be following that thread.

I wonder what these women do all day that they read DCUM enough to figure out what posts are mine and what posts are not. So weird!
