That's weird. What parts of your head, specifically, doe she hate? The scalp? Jaw? Earlobes?

Or maybe she disowned you because of poor treatment and shitty things you've said?

Reason #458 to get of Facebook.

Seriously OP--just step away from the drama. Shut down your FB account for a month. You'll be amazed by how much time and energy you have. You all sound like you're 22.

I would completely ignore people who try to passive aggressively disown you over FB or shame you over FB. Just pretend like you don't see it or know or care.

You need to interact in person with your sisters. Or if that isn't possible, phone conversations. Don't get caught up in he-said she-said stuff. Just look forward and be forgiving.

Siblings can be understanding of each other's weaknesses, flaws, and insecurities because we know there's a lot more to it. Don't accept her blame. But try to keep the big picture in mind.

Yet another reason to bet off FB.

Sounds to me like she is really angry at her fiancé - they've been engaged for 2.5 years and still haven't set a date. Yet you are married and other sister has a date set after a few months of being engaged. She is taking her frustration out on you. She'll come around. Just don't rub the wedding stuff in her face.

Sorry you're going through this, OP. I'm an only child so have never dealt with this, But my mother has fallen in and out of favor with one of her overbearing sisters many times! Each time they patch it up after several weeks. Give her a few weeks and send her a short "Are you all right?" message.

And, BTW, she has no leg to stand on. She was engaged for such a long time and didn't choose a date? Your other sister had every right to pick whatever date she wanted.

God yes. This is the problem with FB. You're virtually fighting instead of bickering in person like normal families.

Do nothing. Don't talk about it with any family member. Stay off FB.

This.

My older sister recently"disowned"me..... according to her I do not like her or her family! This is after they (sister & husband) were recently here to my home for dinner (they were up from Florida), I have always offered our house for them to stay when they come up from Florida, but she always choose to stay with her daughter instead (which is fine).....I have not been down to visit her in Florida for 8 years, primarily because they are always coming up here and that I have a fear of flying....I am not sure what started this! I have not been in contact with her children, two of whom live near me (she has not been in contact with my children either other than Facebook comments...... I told her via email I was sorry and that all was ridiculous and that I am heartbroken. So I will give her some space and eventually if she does not respond will send another msg if she changes her mind I m athere for her. What else can I do???

Op here. I really just wrote this to get it out of my head and vent, but getting other perspectives is really helpful. No doubt we're a dramatic bunch, but this just felt more permanent. I'm just leaving it alone for now...
