But in lots of cases, yeah, they really don't eat. You know all those headlines about celebrity freakouts, where someone threw a phone at her assistant or attacked a photographer or screamed at the craft services people because there's was only splenda and no equal? That's what happens when you're hungry all the time. And spoiled, of course.
When you say they're busy, part of their jobs is working out and maintaining the body. It's not something they have to squeeze in around their other commitments. It IS a commitment. Basically, being beautiful for a living is a full-time job bordering on (or even fully blown) obsession. People who get famous for their looks are the workaholics of their skill group.
This. I know people like this who are not models and they just have it easy in the weight department and they also don't starve themselves. They do very moderate amount of exercise or just walk and don't overeat, but don't diet either, and appear to be in amazing shape, at least when clothed. I see some women who don't even seem to gain any weight around their bodies while pregnant, they just look like stick figures with big bellies. I doubt they starve themselves during PG. I've also seen thin women with a bit of a belly or saggy skin around the mid section, but the rest of the body is in perfect condition and mommy-arms don't make appearance. Once they get a tummy tuck, they'll have their girly figures back. Not so true for many of us who tend to gain fat all over when PG.
It's usually the tall, lanky types, with thin bone structure, this is what most models are anyway.
I knew a girl in college who was a professional model, but was not naturally thin. She starved herself regularly to get jobs and even though she looked very skinny to me, she had a hard time landing high fashion work, mostly print work. She exited after getting her degree and got a regular job where she could eat. She looked very heavy when PG, but then lost weight. Every time I saw her, she either was a little bottom heavy or completely starved skinny. She had eating issues well into her 30s. My guess is the girls that stay in fashion industry for a long time are the naturally skinny types, otherwise, it's an uphill battle and probably lots of drugs.
