I knew Obama was a bad choice when CBS reported his plane stunk all the time and Mcains was clean. Then when Michelle complained about his bad odor and inability to pick up his underwear off the floor I had another bad feeling. Needless to say, I wasn't surprised when he kept having flies swarming him at speechs and interviews. The rat in the rosegarden was just the final turd on the turd mountain he has made of the presidency.

I agree...the more people smell Obama, the less they want to vote for him. It makes sense because the inability to be sanitary gives insight as to how he mismanages his job.

Lots of considerations go into why or how people vote. That's why polling and political analysis are huge businesses and fascinating. It would be a stretch if i were to ever vote for a morbidly obese person, regardless of how flawed someone sees that reasoning. What's better, not voting for someone who is slovenly partly because they are slovenly or voting FOR someone because simply because they are first on the ballot or because you saw a campaign sign right before going to the polls?

I'd like to agree with you on this, but when I see someone who is morbidly obese and in a position of power and leadership I just can't take them seriously. My internal reaction is "why should I listen to anything you have to say? You obviously have no little self-control, no self-worth, no self-anything and don't care at all to try and take care of the only physical body you have." He's a sweaty, heaving breathing, pig. Ick.

[/quoteLib here again. ]Did you day that about Obama in 2008 when he was smoking?

Look, I like to bash the GOP as much as anyone, but this is a terrible double standard and shows a lack of understanding about obesity as well.

I'm the same way with people who smell horrible and literally draw flies. I just can't take anything they say seriously and would NEVER follow their leadership!

Obama IS on the national ticket. As his wife, I believe, told it to Glamour magazine. "Barak is so stinky, the kids wait for hi to leave the bed before snuggling with me in the morning". LOL ...no wonder he is always swatting at flies.

Let's get off his appearance and focus on his record. The NY Times had an interesting series of articles on horrendous detention centers in NJ - Christie has links to the private company which runs those centers. I'm fairly conservative, but was horrified by what these articles revealed.
