True, but by the time Katrina made it it's second landfall I believe it was a Cat 3. If it hits during high tide, wherever it goes- will probably wreak havoc in storm surge damage. I think people have vivid memories of the last "big one" and will prepare if not over-prepare accordingly. At least, I hope...


I heard now they are thinking of a controlled levee breach to let out some flooding waters further south NOLA area.
Anyone have an update from NOLA, that is- if you still have Internet access?
