Christina is classic, and not over used for the current generation.

Audrey- eh.

Lark- is Larla's sister.

I hate them all they remind me of yucky great grandma names like Astrid, Margot, and Beth.

Agreed. I'm a child of the 80s, and every other girl in my classes was named some variant of Christina - including Christine, Kristy and Kristen.

I actually like Audrey and Lark.

Christina is overused? While, possibly in the past, but certainly not now. It peaked in 1975 (at #12) and was in the top 100 names from 1964-2002. But now it has fallen to #271. That's less popular than Alina, Ivy, Fiona, Isla, Nadia, and Kyleigh (this spelling only).

Audrey, on the other hand, is in the top 100 names now (and has been since 2003). 2011 saw its highest popularity yet (#43), and I'd bet it will go higher.

If popularity is an issue, Audrey is the name that OP should discard, not Christina.

They are all horrid. How about anabella, michaela, saraphine, kai, ariel,or clementine?

OP here. I see the consensus is Lark is a no. I think it sounds pretty. Reminds me of the novel Song of the Lark by Willa Cather, which I love. Also the birdsong of the lark, which is beautiful. Too bad. But I may just have to do it.

I like Christina even though it is plain. I don't care for Lark at all. Audrey has never been a pretty- sounding name to me. Something about that "aud" syllable looks and sounds yucky to me.

Lark is a little harsh for a girl, in terms of the sound.

I know at least six Christinas. Most of them are older, but to me it's terribly common.

Audrey is pretty. Not special, not unique, but pretty.

Audrey - OK, but kind of blah
Lark - OK, but reminds me of Saved by the Bell

Like Audrey and Christina but not Lark. It seems flighty. Not a resume name.
