I think she sells apples and oranges for a living at one of those traveling food kiosks in the city. (Not that it would ever compare to a NYC food kiosk. Apples and oranges, donchya know?)

You must admit that a delay of that degree would be highly disturbing? By the age of 3, I would be very concerned if my child weren't speaking 2 languages and reading short books of the same.
