I would keep open communication with her and keep an eye on it. But, I would not say anything to make her feel self conscious. It is her choice.

Have it threaded.

Do you have to let hair "grow out" before you wax? I pluck everyday because I don't want to wait for it to grow out.

Has anyone had a good experience with Nair on facial hair?

You must be fair/blonde and not hairy.

As a hairy woman-please don't make her self conscious about it before she notices it herself! She has a whole life of insecurity about body hair ahead of her, let her have a few more months of obliviousness.

And if she doesn't mention her mustache, you're done for now.

Thank you. Jesus, at least somebody has some sense. Why on earth would you point out to your daughter that there's something "wrong" with her that you must change? Big whoop. If it bugs her, let her know she can come to you. If you take it upon yourself to "fix" it, you may as well get out your permanent marker and circle the trouble spots in her body.

Wax it. Or else kids will make fun of her and it could stress her out. I know from experience- been waxing since I was 12, but wished my mom would have let me do it before.

Definitely wax. Contrary to what one of the pps said, it does not create stuble. I've been waxing since I was 14 or 15. I also agree about getting supplies to do it yourself at home. It take 5-10 minutes and is soooo much cheaper than the salon.

Just don't do what my redhead (so no dark facial or other body hair) mom did--tell me to put some hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball and go over the hair every day. Does nothing. Finally a friend of hers who was Lebanese or something brought me some actual bleach to lighten it. Finally started waxing in college, but was so embarrassed by it, I didn't realize that lots of people do it until I was in my 30s.

Anyone ever tried that Nair face cream? Tried it once, it stunk, I was sore and red afterward and it did nOT work on the hair either. Maybe didn't leave it on long enough but man that stuff hurt.

I'd get it waxed or use the Nair facial cream.
