i get party allegiance, but sometimes we can all at least agree on some insane line of thinking.

It's sad that there are people out there who would actually vote for a candidate who clearly shows about a middle school understanding of science. You are supposed to vote for someone whose judgment you trust to make legislative decisions on behalf of the population. Who in their right mind would trust this candidate when he clearly has no understanding nor desire to learn beyond a prepubescent level? I bet his parents are embarassed that the world now knows that they never had "the talk" with their son.

I'm not sure which is worse, his parsing of rape into "legitimate" vs. "illegitimate" or the notion that fertility is based on the level of a woman's consent.

It's nice that the Romney campaign is distancing itself from this guy NOW, since not so long ago, Akin and Ryan teamed up to co sponsor a very important bill restricting abortion funding and trying to redefine "mere" rape as FORCIBLE RAPE. Apparently the degree of force is an important difference to Repug legislators.
