Our friends bought a 900k house that had been empty for awhile, and purchased the owners sunroom furniture. It had mice living in it!

It doesn't seem cheap (although who cares if it does) - it seems pragmatic. the stuff is already there and was bought for that house.

That's hilarious. My parents did the same thing (dining set and hutch) about 30 years ago, too!

My house growing up, all of the furniture was custom made for all of the bedrooms. I remember when my parents sold the house, the buyers asked if they could purchase all of the bedroom furniture as well. My parents were thrilled and sold them all of our furniture!

Our sellers included window treatments. Is this not standard? Should we thank them profusely?
