I am looking for a 30 year loan, super conforming (Between $417 and $715, i.e. not jumbo but not reg conforming) refi. If you got a recent rate below 3.8%, can you tell me your lender? Thanks!

Did a refi for 3.5. For $350k. Two months ago. I think I could get lower now.

+1

3.75%. Borrowed $300k, 30 years, 800+ credit scores, 20% down, close tomorrow.

Seriously, PP again, the last home loan I got was in 1998, and I probably didn't shop around enough then. How are / where are people getting 3.5-3.7% loans with no points?

We are refinancing a VA mortgage to 3.25%, 30 yr jumbo. We've got less than 5% equity. Crazy.

The housing market is now going to be very used to 3% rates, anything higher will tank it again. I remember when 5% was crazy.

+1. Does seem to vary by lender though.

4% jumbo nonconforming, 20 percent down, 30 year fixed, one of us with excellent credit, one with good credit. Given that it's a jumbo, I am quite pleased with that.

3.625, $411,000, 25% down, closed end of June.

I'm hoping I'll get one of those offers in the mail like the other thread for a lower rate and no cost refi. I'm sure it won't happen right away, but maybe some day.

Good for you PP for having one home almost paid off and being in a situation where the rent can pay for a second. I'd love to find myself in that situation some day.

TROLL? what is your term 30 years? and what is your loan amount and bank

why would you call her/him a troll? is 2.75% unrealistic? just curious, not trying to incite.

Not a troll.

The jumbo limit for us now is 625k- so we are paying a tiny bit to buy down. 30 year fixed. 2.75. Quickenloans (they are the best!). This is our second home which we didn't use any $ from first home to float. First home is almost paid off--we rent it out. The rent from investment property will eventually cover the mortgage payments on this home.
