I was incredibly jealous of attractive people, though never mean to anyone. I am now approaching 40 and generally far too tired to think of how I look on a relative scale. I make sure I am dressed appropriately for the occasion, and I focus on my heath and feeling my best. I am trying to pass that feeling along to my daughters.
By whose standards are you attractive? Beauty is actually measured by facial symmetry, regardless of race or ethnicity--this has been pretty widely reported/studied.
