Is anyone finding the corn tough and stringy this year? Not to start a whole corn debate, or anything.

Mostly salads and chilled soups. Yogurt too. Crab fried rice with mushrooms, corn, and celery ... can eat cold...tastes really good.

Grilled pork shoulder, low and slow all day today. Rain sizzled on the grill a bit though.

Grilled corn, summer salads like green bean - tomato, avocado-tomato. Also a lot of fruit, peaches, plums, apricots are all in season. Some pasta/ bread when we want something more filling.
