It's just semantics. When is it breakfast, when is it lunch, when is it brunch? When is it a snack and when is it a meal? It depends on your perspective. Call it a tax or some other financial obligation, doesn't matter.

I don't understand whey Repubs hate mandatory health care. Doesn't it force evil poor people who would otherwise just steal healthcare at the emergency room (and never pay the bill) to financially contribute to the healthcare system? So doesn't that benefit the fine, upstanding, GOOD Americans with things like jobs and employer health care plans

Yea.. Looking forward to higher healthcare premiums, my employer getting taxed on our "cadillac plan" so theyve already made the decison to hire less ppl, young healthy ppl opting to pay a penalty bc why buy insurance tiL you need it now. So without the young healthy ppl in the system the rates GO UP, Drs opting out of this and going private.. Accepting no insurance as many do in Britian. Ironic .. Obama told the American ppl this was not a tax... The only reason this dog was upheld is that Roberts deemed it a TAX for everyone. At least Roberts was honest as to what this is.

12:28, I hail from a flyover state and this is one of the best days of my life. There is a lot of blue in the central zone of the country - Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc. I suspect that these whacked electeds from Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas will go with Obamacare just like they did with the stimulus money. Big diff between how state and fed GOP electeds will respond.

No it's not. If you have insurance, you will not be taxed a dime. If you don't get insurance, you will be fined.

Can someone recommend a country for me to move to where I won't have to see or hear a single clip of Romney spewing about Obama raising TAXES to pay for "Obamacare"? I'm sure the 'pubs are busy coming up with some catchy slogans for this. I'll move back to the US after November. BTW, I'm counting the days until 2014 when I can buy healthcare, so I need a country with free medical care.
