We also (for lack of a better word) ferberized both girls around 5 mos or so.....what I will tell you is that just about each time they had a regression there was a (temporary, thank god) reason - teething, immunizations, learning to stand without learning how to sit back down, illness, travel to an unfamiliar place etc. The good news is that these regressions were fairly temporary. I would make sure there isn't something else going on and then get back on track. GL!

Perhaps I'm just clueless about regression (which, unfortunately, Ferber doesn't seem to address really?)

As 11:30 suggested, I might just try waiting it out for another couple of weeks to see if things work themselves out. My DD is teething, so that's not helping, and about to crawl.

11:30 here. Wow, 9-month regression, teething, and a big milestone (crawling)? I just want to say I sympathize and it is a tough time when so many things are bothering baby at once. Hope you can rely on someone to help you get the rest you need during this time. Here's hoping those teeth pop through and she starts crawling sooner rather than later!
