I think the other poster was questioning the assumption that schools that draw from wealthier areas are "better," simply because their students perform well, as might be expected, on SOLs. The "best" schools might be ones with 90-94.9% pass rates that serve more diverse student bodies, yet still manage to "punch above their weight."
