Why some posters have to drag catholicism (no, I'm not one) into every friggin' thread.

Couldn't the subjugation of women pretty much fit into any organized religion? I didn't instantly leap to Catholicism when I read PP's post.

Uh, no. And it doesn't seem worth explaining, because you don't seem like the type to listen.

Are you Catholic?

Scratch that.

What was that about "listening" again?

And why do drivers stop at traffic lights leaving 1-2 carlengths of space between their own car and the one in front of them? Particularly when it means I'm right behind them and can't get into the turn lane that's opening up right next to them?

Don't know about the left-laners. Some people leave at least a car length between their car and the one in front of them in case they are rear-ended. That way they don't hit the car in front of them. Irritates me, too, at turn lanes.

Islam? Yeah, so empowering for women. Judaism? Women can't be rabbis. Southern Baptist? Not gonna go there.

It's not limited to Catholics.

Paying for it with crime and taxes for welfare and prisons. There are consequences for every action.

Why some DCUM folks always take the bait when race is mentioned. Sometimes it is best to just let it go.
