She sure would be running a more effective campagin,so far only the Dem's like Cory and Bill have landed the far more telling blows to Obama. Factor in the idiot D.W. Schultz running the party, ignoring the Wi recall and Romney has had a great month in spite of the Donald's reinjection of the Birthers.
A weak inept president running a terrible campagin will lose to a candidate who is even more ineffective and out of touch. Hillary would never have allowed the tea party to dominate the conversation.

I would think Hillary would have done pretty much the same job.

I expect that foreign policy objectives are in line since she's Secy of State. She might have made some more progress on stimulus, but let's face it the Republicans have put the limit on what can be done.

And given that health care reform was her dream during the Clinton years, I am sure that she would have pursued it. Could she have gotten a better deal? Dunno. But she would not have tabled it.

Reading 14:25, whose thoughts mirror my own pretty closely, it strikes me that the GOP missed a great chance to put 2012 on ice. They should have been embracing Obama instead of making those dumb attacks for things he did not do.

Then instead of reluctantly defending him, we would have followed our instincts and encouraged a liberal opponent to challenge him the way Ted Kennedy did with Carter. With his backers torn asunder, he'd have been easy prey. Thank you, GOP, for protecting us from ourselves!

When the dems had controls of everything Obama didn't focus on the economy and ram rodded FAKE healthercare reform. This angered alot of people and that's why the dems no longer have control of the senate and the house.

Wasn't the first thing he passed economic stimulus? And didn't he compromise with the Republicans to make a big chunk of it a tax cut? Oh right, he did. I suppose we would have passed more stimulus if he wasn't busy with health care. Oh wait, the Republicans blocked that. But maybe he would have passed regulations to prevent another financial meltdown in the future. Oh wait, he did that and now the Republicans are trying to undo it. The only thing left is a tax cut. Oh wait, he did the payroll tax cut, which the Republicans tried to stop. And of course the Bush tax cuts, which have been in effect the entire time. Oh wait but maybe budget cuts would fix something. Oh wait, he cut a deal with the whackjob republicans on that, too.

So what exactly did you want with this extra "focus"??? You keep bringing it up. It seems to me that lack of available time to think was not an issue.

um, stimulus? and healthcare reform was presented in some fashion as a way to control costs.
