People who denigrate Cunningham Park or Freedom Hill probably really have not personally experienced it or talked to enough people about the school to justify their position.
If you want an AAP center, go to Louise Archer
If you want LLIV and FLES (starting next year for Spanish), go to Flint Hill ES.
If you want more diversity, go to Freedom Hill.
I think Wolftrap also has LLIV, Vienna does not but it is the smallest of the Schools which is something to consider.
If you want to live in Vienna Woods and/ or walk to town, do Cunningham Park or Vienna Elementary, also Louise Archer.
Wolftrap is a split feeder (splits off between Marshall and Madison); Louise Archer, Vienna, Flint Hill, Cunningham Park all solely go to Madison (I think).
Not sure but I think Marshall Road splits between Oakton and Madison )AAP for Marshall Road goes to Mosby Woods.

Great falls to that part oF McClean is about 20-30 minutes tops taking gtown pike. There are a couple nice neighborhoods in Langley pyramid in the 700k range. Smaller and older (70's) houses, but you cannot get better schools.

Id check out the Barristers area of Vienna, off Lawyers before Hunter Mill. Houses in the 700s and 800s and Vienna ES/Madison HS.
Just by researching the great schools rankings and word of mouth, freedom hill, cunningham, marshall road and stenwood were not recommended.
