My kids go to Rose Hill and while I heard rumblings from parents about problems with the principal and staff morale, I had no negative interactions with the principal nor do I know anything about Ms. Nichols. From reading the article, it appears there is insufficient evidence to support terminating a teacher. The administration either did a poor job documenting or the teacher shouldn't have been fired. What I find interesting is that FCPS made available today the results of its 'Teacher Working Conditions'. If you compare Rose Hill's 2010 results with the 2012, there was clearly problems between the teachers and the administrators

The improved results for 2012 are a result of a new principal coming on board. Makes me think there may be something to Ms. Nichols' assertions.
