because you are a servant. it's not just about working with children - it's about taking orders of people who, in this case, are supposedly 10 layers of status below you. so, in the evening you go to some white tie event with the president and the next morning you are driving traffic the suburbs from your $5 million georgetown house because some 100K making family's dog went missing so they need you to show up early. it's just too much for me to believe - i think some important info here is missing. to top it all - the OP's english also sounds very bad, like from someone with a HS diploma. nothing wrong with that, but just adds to the implausibility of it all.
