Yet today you have abused your power as DCUMs Adminstrator by tracing a person's IP Address. Then to make matters worse you called the OP a hypocrite. What could be more hypocritical than promising posters anominity and then tracking them down by their IP Address.
Now all you have to say is Blah, blah, blah
Whatever happened to the ethical and intellectual Jeff we used know??

After reading your writings for sometime, I'm disappointed in your failed logic that because you believed the OP was wrong that it in some relives you of your obligation to maintain the trust of posters.

Don't you think teachers should get the same privileges you do? I really hate the negative attitude so many here have toward teachers. If someone spends their day with 3 and 4 year olds, I don't blame them for taking a few minutes for adult interaction (even if it is with adults who frequently don't act their age).
Jeff,
You are smart and you write very well. Often times I've been impressed by well reasoned prose. Unfortunately, with this post you have abused your power by using insider information to embarrass the OP. sure you need to have IP Address information for the purpose protecting the public in an variety ways, but that's not the way you used it in this instance. In this instance you used it to out, embarrass, and intimidate the OP. You may have felt that the OPs post was snarky, but it in no way justified your use of privy information to humiliate the poster. It is unethical to promise anominity and then use insider information to embarrass and humiliate your posters.
