We chose center. Very impressed with the AAP student panel at the Sangster orientation and the AAP teachers. Principal was okay.

Any other opinions on Sangster?

I have friends that have their DC at Sangster and are quite pleased with the program.

so you referred your kid to see what FCPS would say and then upon acceptance decided to stay where you are

We truly considered the program for 3rd grade and it has been a hard decision. Also by applying it affords us more options down the road if we so desire - e.g. could not afford private anymore or decide to transfer in middle school. She is eligible now for the remainder of her school career up to 8th grade. This is similiar to anyone that applied abd decide to keep their DC at the local school versus sending to a center. Not sure what the big deal is.

Good move. Keep your options open.

I hope the numbers hold for you! I remember when that shifted closer to the start of school.

Is the principal going to run Local Level IV this year? I know that has been changed in the past.
