Even though Travilah is a small school with about 450+ kids, my sons first grade class was filled to capacity. So far have not seen smaller class size like Dufief, Fallsmeade and Luxmanor ES

It passes inspection because it isn't an issue.

Poster is absolutely correct and many families feel this way. principle is not nice to the kids and has the staff on edge. Even ladies that work in the office are not friendly and act like you are bothering them if you ask the slightest question. It's time for some new administration at the school. The main pro is its size and academics but they could also use some new younger enthusiastic teachers as well.

My kids goes to Travilah. She didnt treat the kids good and the teachers there are just okay.

She is terrible. I moved out of the area because her attitude to parents/ kids are really bad.

so did she care about the kids or she treat them as a job?

The principal is all about the principle.

My friend's kids goes to Travilah Elem. According to the parents feedback, the principle there is not a nice lady at all.

Travilah parent here, I don't think that the negative post is from a disgruntled staff person. It sounds like a parent and I have heard similar opinions from other parents worded more strongly than the negative post.

The play area is fine. My kids enjoy it. The big plus, IMO, for Travilah is that it is a smaller school. There are no kids in trailers. The kids get to know each other even if they are in different classes. The teachers are really great. There are a few that are not but the majority are fantastic even with the terrible curriculum.

The power line concern is just ignorant of any understanding of how electricity works. The area around Travilah attracts a lot of families that work in STEM. You will really be seen as a fool and embarrass yourself if you think the power lines are an issue around this crowd.
