Very poor writing. I found the story line disturbing in that the female character was weak and dominated by an older, rich and more powerful male. I don't see how that is erotic.

According to today's Post, "50 Shades" is helping a lot of women rev up their sex lives. No one here's experienced that?

The writing isn't going to win any literary fiction prizes but it isn't as horrible as 50 Shades. I will warn everyone, some of the books include threesomes and group sex. All the threeseomes that I've seen are either M-M-F or M-F-M. For whatever reason there aren't any F-F-M or F-M-F. I'm sure they are out there but they don't seem to be as common. The language is graphic when it comes to sex, but there is a story that accompanies the sex parts, which differentiates all these books from Penthouse Letters.

Yes, they are out there, but as most romance and erotic books are written and geared for women/by women, the majority of menages will features two men vs two women.

Anyone have any erotica to recommend that doesn't include s&m or any rape scenes. I like erotica, but one rape ruins the book for me.

Read it. Not going to lie, I did like it. I do NOT think it's erotica, but more of an erotic romance. Anyone who thinks it's 'mommy porn' doesn't read much romance or erotic books.

Another book that recently came out, Bared to You by Sylvia Day, is being compared similar to to Fifty Shades, but better. It's a good read.
