Word of advice, don't pick a name that rhymes with a command. No, Sit, Stay, Come, Heel. Will just confuse the dog if it's as dumb as our's!!

My DH insists on one syllable names. Lots of good two syllable names out there.

I've always wanted to name a dog Brennan after Justice Brennan.

Our neighbors have a rhody/mix named Mr. Jones. I saw their nanny the other day and she calls him: Meester Chones. Funny as hell. It really suits the dog.
