Maybe! Depends on how cranky I was feeling at the moment. But probably not, since s/he's looking for new sources, not evergreen opinions. It's not the posting per se that got me, although it does seem like a lazy, bias-confirming way to do reporting; it's the spamming across six or seven old threads.

Can I just ask you this: If Taylor had started a new thread, would you have posted "search the archives"?

Thank you.

I'm not Taylor, but if I were, I'd probably start working on a story about cranky anonymous DCUM-ers. Jeez -- lighten up -- your kid will either get into your first-choice school or not. It is not such a freakin' big deal either way.

Thanks for your concern. It's been years since my mail carrier-stalking days, but yes, a reporter reviving half a dozen dead threads in pursuit of a lightweight story still makes makes me cranky--especially when it involves the Post.

Taylor,

There is a live thread on this in the VA public schools forum. No need to revive a dead thread.

Don't know whether it starts earlier, but cursive is taught in Kindergarten at WIS.

My PreK DC is learning cursive at WIS...
