OP here. I think I am going to ignore it.

She is the epitome of passive aggressive. If this person was my direct boss then perhaps I would address it with him but he is not. though I do (and have) worked on things in the past with him. I will let my work speak for itself.

And will obviously stay the hell away from her. She seriously scares me. Very manipulative and threatned bc she is overpaid and does not have the attributes to back it up. I think people are starting to catch on that she brings little to the table.

Ignore it, OP, unless she is trashing your work with your boss. Then, ask her about it and tell her what you overheard. End of story. Don't engage in petty office politics. Nothing good will come of it.

Dont be angry bc youre in Gen X but have a millenial boss who understands being ambitious and productive.

I don't have a Millennial boss but do have employees of that generation. They fit the wussy stereotype to a T. It's not my fault your greedy asshole parents ruined the world for everyone.

I have no idea why this person hates me so much.

I think she knows I heard her say it. What do I do? Ignore? Say something to her?

Fix it with your boss without being direct. Then never even think about trusting that chic again.

Totally. Is this woman your direct peer? How close is she to the boss? And, how did the boss respond to her comment? Des the boss like you or her better?

This shit does matter so much and you want to get ahead of it if you have crazy office politics.

What is your relationship with the superior like? Does the superior take everything your colleague says as gospel?
