One more thing....CMI and Mundo Verde are working together not against one another. So, there's no sense of there being a "stand off" between the schools. They continue to have a very collaborative approach to addressing their shared space issues.

Creative Minds's Executive Director has indicated (publicly) that the school would like to remain in the current location as long as possible. She also stated that if the school was unable to remain in its current location, they would try to remain in the same general area (to retain their current families).

Mundo Verde, to my knowledge, does not intend to remain in the adjoining building beyond next year. Things change, however, so we (the parents) are going to have be flexible. It's the reality of the charter school process and there's not really anything the schools can do about it.

You're never going to get answers with absolute certainty from the school administrations because they honestly can't provide certainty at this stage.

Seems like it's kind of a stand-off between CM and MV. I don't know for sure but I'd imagine that if MV moves, CM will want to make a play for the whole bldg. And vice verse.

Where does CM want to be when the existing 2 year lease expires?

I would love to hear more about these two schools. I'm enamored by what I've read about Creative Minds and searching to hear more parent testimony.

Likewise, there are a lot of endorsements for Cap City, but I'd like to learn more about what makes it so great.

OP, you are fortunate to have these choices.
One of my sons teachers had graduated from UDC. Quality teaching there.

I can't tell which school you are referring too, but I have worked with several UDC grads who were top notch. They mostly were going back to finish their degree and UDC was cheap.
