We did the exact same thing OP. I don't see anything wrong with it and never gave it much thought. I think it's kind of a special thing to share among the kids.

I did the same as you for no. 1 and hope to do the same again for no. 2 I want my name in there somewhere and do not want to give the kid the burden of a hyphenated name.

We did this too. for our two DDs. They both have the same middle name (my last name - I kept it) and DH's last name.

It's the tradition in my country.

My boys have their fathers middle name which was also the middle name of DH's father and grandfather.

We did this. I have a son and daughter. Since I didn't take my husband's name, I love having my name included in my children's.

I did this. My kids are Mary Jones Smith and Jane Jones Smith.

I am Jones, Husband is Smith. No other middle names.

It's not weird unless you think it's weird to give your kids all the same last name.

Our children have two middle names, one they share which is my last name.

George Foreman and his wife have like 6 sons, all named George Foreman.

I am the only girl in my family but I share the same middle name as my two cousins (both girls, too). It is kind of neat.

I think it's fine too. My daughter has my maiden name as a middle name. My maiden name has feminine associations, though (like Rose or Leigh), so might be hard to give to a boy . If we have another child, and regardless of the sex, I would consider giving my mom's last name (she didn't change it) as a middle name. Unfortunately, my mom's last name doesn't sound so great with my husband's last name, but the combination isn't so awful as to be disqualifying.
