Cows' milk at 12 months when I stopped pumping at work. I sent cows milk to daycare and she nursed after work, at bedtime, and in the morning until 18 months when she self-weaned.

We tried at around 16 months, but he won't drink it...I've tried it several times, and he just spits it out. I've also tried soy, almond, etc. and tried chocolate milk -- nope. He is now 19 months and still nurses very frequently, so I'm not concerned since he doesn't need another milk source -- and anyway, he eats a lot of yogurt, cheese, etc.

DS is 16 months and I nurse twice during the day before his naps and before bedtime. We started cows milk as soon as he turned one and were expecting him to love it since he could live on yogurt. No such luck. We've tried soy milk, almond milk, even vanilla almond milk (a bit sweeter) but he rejects it all. My ped thinks that as long as he's getting "the good stuff" from me he won't drink anything else. Hopefully when I wean this summer we'll have better luck.

We introduced cow's milk a little after a year (12-13 months). Weaned one at 14 mos, one at 16-17 mos.
