can't tell until seeing the full scores, but so far, Wilson has been the same school academically as it's always been.
As with so many other DC schools, there's no evidence that the principal has done or can do anything to improve academics

If we want Wilson to improve academically, we need to get a new principal. Cahall was great for getting the student behaviors back in order. Now we need someone with a more thoughtful academic vision. He is a great guy, but we clearly have a PE teacher at the helm.

Wilson is up about 1.5 overall - and we don't know if that's because of an increase in in-bound high SES kids opting for public over private.
While DCPS is bending over backwards to celebrate a .5% increase in reading overall, there's not a peep yet about the achievement gap, so it's fair to guess that it's widened again.

Stuart Hobson students got paid for grades/attendance/good behavior under Rhee..I don't see how this is different
